We screen our applicants very carefully, the questions below are to ensure that each PawLife Rescue Group dog or cat is placed in the most suitable forever home!

Our rescue organization is made up of 100% VOLUNTEERS, so please be patient with us. If you do not hear from us please understand that we all have full-time jobs and families. We will respond if there is a fit for both you and the rescue pet.

Things to know before you fill out an application:

Pets have unique requirements listed on their individual pages. Be sure to read the requirements of the specific pet you are interested in to make sure they are a good fit for your home.
We are only able to facilitate adoptions within a 1-hour radius of Pinellas County because our adoption process requires a home visit.
Adopters must be 25 years of age or older.
You must provide a response to every question. If a question does not apply to you, please put 'N/A' as your response.

If I am chosen to adopt a PawLife Rescue Group dog/cat, I understand that:

I agree to pay the relevant published adoption fee.
I am committed to care for my dog/cat for its lifetime, which could be 12-15 years or more.
My dog/cat will not be chained, penned, or left outside for an excessive amount of time.
I will follow the guidelines given by PawLife Rescue Group to properly introduce and train(at my own expenses) to help the dog/cat adjust to its new environment.
If PawLife Rescue Group deems that the dog/cat is neglected or abused under my ownership, they reserve the right to remove the dog/cat from the premises, at which time ownership rights automatically transfer back to PawLife Rescue Group.
The dog/cat I adopt will not be used in any illegal activities. If the dog is a pit bull/bully breed, it will not be found at any time in a municipality where the breed is illegal.
If I am no longer able to care for the pet, I agree to contact PawLife Rescue Group to rehome the pet.
