Meet beautiful Iris! She has a sweet, gentle nature and loves to play. Iris needs a patient, understanding home with a predictable routine. She can be a little skittish in new or unfamiliar environments, but she has shown that she warms up to people rather quickly. She has the most expressive eyes and the cutest deer-tail (her little, excited tail wiggles are the best). She’s incredibly intelligent and learns quickly; she’d benefit from constant enrichment to build her confidence.
She is potty trained, good with other dogs, and OK with cats. Iris would do best in a home with no small children.
Adopters should have the following:
Single family home with fenced yard and preferably another pup to play and socialize with.
Please, no long hours left alone and not crated for more than 4 hours.
** All canine pets in home should be altered, current on all required vaccinations, including rabies and on monthly flea, tick and heartworm prevention.
