ELVIS is looking for a quiet home. He came to us when the sanctuary he was at was closing down.
We don’t know much about his younger life; he could have had a home or left to survive on the streets.
Elvis was rescued after a horrific accident. He was crushed by a truck load of rocks, accidentally dumped on him. The resulting injury has left his back legs crooked but he is mobile. More than likely nerve damage to his tail, as it just hangs.
Elvis passes his days mostly sleeping or sunbathing. He is good with other dogs and cats. When he’s happy or excited he does a little run and spin.
He can be cautious of new people and understandably, shy of vehicles. He prefers not to go on walks.
He is house trained and can use a doggy door.
Elvis is low maintenance and just needs a safe place to call home.
He is approximately 6 to 7 years old and 53 pounds.
Up to date on all shots and heartworm negative.
